Fayge Lillis is a third generation Trekkie and grew up watching TNG and DS9 with the whole family. Her mom and grandfather were part of the letter writing campaign to keep TOS on TV. She has done academic analysis of Star Trek's role in the history and culture of the United States. She says she "also liked DS9 before it was cool."
Nowadays, Fayge is a tour guide in Philadelphia, PA. She specializes in United States political and cultural history and is fascinated by how sci-fi reflects our hopes and anxieties about the future and our present.
